Dahlia 'Fashion Monger'

What a charming and colourful flower this is! The Dahlia 'Fashion Monger' could well set a trend in border gardening. Not that it would be an entirely new fashion – a bit retro, in fact, when it’s taken into account this collarette dahlia was introduced in 1955. Dahlia 'Fashion Monger' was popular then and it still is. Its highly contrasting colours and petal structure make for a bloom that will delight in the garden, patio pots, containers or indoor vases. Bright red edged with dark pink is brushed on white to allow to form a background for the creamy white collar of medium length petals that surround a centre made up of golden yellow balls. Flowering time is June till the first frosts.
